Vallicelli 80

The vessel in question is a Sailing Yacht, with a hull length of 23.80 meters with a fixed keel, rigged as a CUTTER. It is constructed in composite material and offers fast and comfortable navigation.

This yacht is the third example of this model designed by Vallicelli, built to ensure long and comfortable cruises with absolute safety and comfort, boasting high daily averages in distance, even with a reduced crew.

Like all boats made by CN YACHT 2000, now Ice Yachts, they stand out for their attention to detail. In fact, the yacht has been developed externally based on what we consider a fundamental requirement for the owner of a yacht of this size and class.

The aft cockpit is technical, dedicated to the vessel’s operation and fulfilling all vital functions for sailing or motoring, capable of accommodating four to five people.

Its deck salon makes life below light and airy, with light finishes allowing ample natural light to enter. It has a practical layout with space for six guests and a large crew accommodation aft.

ICE 62

The ICE 62 is an elegant luxury-sport-cruiser above 18 meters in length designed by Felci Studio and constructed in the ICE YACHTS shipyard in Salvirola.

The hull and deck in hybrid carbon and fiberglass are laminated on a female mold using an infusion method, while the carbon structural elements are laminated on installation and under vacuum. The yacht’s lines are by Umberto Felci, and are a development of his work on the Felci 61, a project designed to compete in the Mini Maxis, where they have enjoyed great success.

CEO of the yard Marco Malgara says that “The Ice 62 is an example of what we mean by a ‘grand luxe’ yacht – refined interiors combined with a personality suited to racing. If I had to describe her features, I’d mention her lines, her prestigious appeal, and her seaworthiness and performance, under sail and engine power. The Ice 62 is a special craft that can handle full canvas at wind speeds of up to 28 knots. We’ve verified this first hand!”

And sail area on the Ice 62 means 216 square metres of mainsail and genoa on a carbon mast. The same material is used for the boom and telescopic bowsprit. There is a lifting keel that allows the yacht to enter even extremely shallow waters, with a draught ranging from 4 metres to just 2.50 metres. The deck is clean and uncluttered, with a dual helm followed by a generous open space, the guest cockpit furnished with a table.

The interiors are centered on the large saloon – and here, the raised level of the floor and long side windows of the deckhouse provide passengers with a perfect view of the surrounding environment. The saloon, which offers a dining area to port and a sofa with a skipper table to starboard, provides access aft to two double cabins and ensuite bathrooms. Forward of the saloon lies a third skipper

cabin opposite the galley to starboard and then comes the owner’s suite with a double bed. Two couchettes in a V-layout for the crew complete the interiors for this four-cabin version.

The simple interior design of the first Ice 62 is enhanced by the use of attractive woods & leather in structures and finishes, as well as high-end equipment and fittings. “That’s why we’ve called this model a luxury-sport-cruiser,” Malgara concludes. “It’s a sporty boat that offers guests the interiors of a luxury yacht.”

ICE 66 RS

The ICE Yacht shipyard is proud to present the ICE66rs. The first model in a series born from collaboration with the top names in the nautical industry: Farr Yacht design for the hull and naval architecture and Micheletti + Partners for the interior and exterior styling.

“Nothing less than the best” is the shipyard’s slogan for this new line: “We wanted to work with the best designers in the market to ensure a light, fast, competitive, and comfortable boat. The top in the market to bring the Made in Italy of the shipyard to an international level. This line is not meant to replace the existing production but will complement it, targeting an audience that appreciates the solidity and performance of ICE Yachts but seeks a more futuristic design.” These are the statements of ICE Yachts CEO Marco Malgara.

The boat, in its first version, will have a sandwich construction of glass carbon with a full carbon deck that combines the rigidity of carbon with the natural ability to absorb vibrations (and thus noise). A full carbon model is already in the works for speed enthusiasts. The mast, strictly made of carbon, will support a generous sail plan.

The keel blade, constructed with a double Weldox structure and the lead bulb milled with numerical control, will ensure the strength and robustness necessary to withstand the loads imposed by the large sail plan.

The carbon rudder with a forged autoclave 7 bar axis, designed with cutting-edge technology, allows for impressive control even in a heeled or subjected to high aerodynamic loads, always keeping safety in mind, both in design and construction.

“Finally, we have measured ourselves with a beautiful yacht for racing and fast cruising! After two years of full immersion in the sophistication of the America’s Cup and racing, we were able to dedicate ourselves to excellence in a ‘market’ project, for sailing and sea enthusiasts, for those who do not want to compromise on performance while making all-around use of their boat. Technologies and materials have made huge progress and allow us to create lightweight and extremely robust objects that provide comfort and silence, as well as durability. ICE’s SIX.SIX is a step-change for racing-cruising.”

The waterlines have been designed with the intention of taking the speed and seaworthiness qualities that the shipyard’s customers are used to, to a new level. The hull is derived from racing with a slightly reversed bow, as seen on the OR65 and has always been a hallmark of the shipyard. The maximum beam moved towards the stern, the powerful hull, and the significant righting moment allow this boat to aspire to compete with pure racers. The 3.35m draft has been judged the best compromise between performance and accessibility to the main Mediterranean ports.

The spacious garage, a record in its category and almost on par with that of an 80-foot yacht, is designed to accommodate a tender that is up to 3 meters in width, transversely!

ICE 52RS-54

ICE 54 is the new a fast cruiser dedicated to passionate and competent owners who seek enjoyment and strong emotions at the helm. It is built with highly innovative materials, and advanced construction techniques that belong in a league of their own in all that regards performance, comfort on board, and the ability to withstand even the most challenging conditions of the sea. The ICE 54 is excellent for demanding cruises and regattas. The design is inspired by the shapes of the model ICE 52, with the same qualities that made it a successful boat with over 10 examples sold, adding some changes to increase comfort and liveability both during navigation and at anchor. In fact, ICE 54 has a freeboard increased by 6 cm that allows the generation of a wide interior. Therefore, ICE 54 joins the ICE 52 production, enhancing the characteristics of comfort, luxury, and habitability. The slightly reverse bow and the large stern, trademarks of the shipyard, come from the regatta boat ICE 33.

Additionally, the hydrodynamics are nothing less than impressive.
The water lines allow the ICE 54 to glide at very high speeds due to its max beam of 4.65m and the carefully studied appendages that grant the yacht excellent upwind capabilities. The ICE 54 shows no problem in taking on the wind coming from extremely narrow angles. The advanced technologies used in the construction process and the elevated skills of the artisans who have great experience and expertise in their field guarantee a high level of performance. This avantgarde project is realized in cooperation with Felci Yacht Design.

ICE 62-62 Targa

The ICE YACHTS boat-yard presents in the market the new ICE 62, an innovative fast cruiser dedicated to passionate and competent owners that seek enjoyment and strong emotions at the helm. Built with highly innovative materials and advanced construction techniques, the ICE 62 is in a league of it’s own in regards to performance, design, comfort onboard and ability to take on even the toughest conditions at sea. Excellent for demanding cruises and regattas.
Derived from the powerful lines of the ICE 62 targa, with a mix of contents taken from our 60 ‘and 70’. The project has been realized by Felci Yacht Design and the production is done in the historic site of Yacht 2000, construction yard that has had over thirty years of experience and has completed more than 80 prestigious maxi-yachts.
The hydrodynamics are nothing less than impressive. The water lines allow the ICE 62 to glide at very high speeds due to its max beam of 5.20 m and the carefully studied appendages also grant great upwind capabilities. The ICE 62 shows no problem in taking on wind coming from extremely narrow angles.

Great performances are guaranteed by the advanced technologies used in construction. These are the qualities that have allowed the famous shipyard to win the most important offshore races such as: ARC Atlantic Rally, Giraglia, L’Antigua, Sailing Week, 500x 2 and many others, however the ICE 62 also offers wonderful and relaxing family cruisers at the same time. Years of experience in advanced composite and offshore sailing led us to select the best materials and the most refined construction techniques. Ice Yachts are entirely manufactured in our facilities in order to ensure the highest quality. Everything, from the laying of the carbon skin to tightening the last bolt, is carefully checked by our experts. Hull and deck of the boat are laminated with a sandwich infusion technique using a glass-carbon fiber composite material, with an epoxy resin and PVC foam core with different density and thickness. The use of 3-step infusion process (infusion on the outer skin, vacuum bonded core, infusion on the inner skin) has been chosen because it allows to obtain an optimal control of the laminate.

The localized reinforcements are made with unidirectional and biaxial carbon fiber beams. The structures (bulkheads and floors) are either longitudinal, or traverse. Made of glass-carbon fiber with PVC foam cores at various densities, all entirely vacuum sandwich laminated in epoxy. The chainplates of shrouds, forestay and backstay are composite and steel made.

TECHNICAL DATA TECHNIQUES AND MATERIALS

The boat weighs 19 tons, 25% less than the average boat in the same category. Has almost 220m2 of sail surface when going upwind and great stability thanks to the shape and the weigh/keel ratio.
Hull and deck of the boat are laminated with a sandwich infusion technique using a glass-carbon fiber composite material and PVC foam core with different density and thickness, which has been chosen as it allows to sustain several strains.

Interior

Offered in two versions, the interiors are our interpretation of how the enjoyment of living on board and the italian style can be combined making it pleasurable to spend a long time off shore. AII the cabins are comfortable and refined, with the right ventilation and complete with large lockers to stow personal belongings.
AII this executed in a clean and modern style with extensive use of solid wood.
The design of the furniture and the orientation of the wood veneer provide a luxurious and refined interior but without loosing the typical offshore elements.
The fin made of high-performance Weldox steel and the numerically controlled offer the advantage of reducing the weight of the ballast in percentage terms and therefore of decreasing the total displacement of the boat, with the same righting moment.
Characteristic in both versions is the forward owner’s cabin, which is very spacious and has a wide shower that faces directly into the cabin.

Deck

The deck takes from the recent projects of Felci Yacht Design, combining simplicity and style with technology and efficiency. The steering wheel is in a forward position for an optimal view and the sails and direct control over the mainsheet even when the boat is leaned. The large area at stern is clear of equipment and can be fitted with cushions for extra comfort. The transom can be opened to offer a comfortable support for sea bathing and provides access to a large garage where it is possible to stow a 10,82 ft tender without deflating it. The cockpit is purposely oversize and it is characterized by large benches and backrests, plus the possibility of having a dining table.

The wide but discrete windows of the coachroof along with the large portholes provide unrivaled interior lighting, giving it a pleasant brightness.
The low freeboards make the hull elegant and slender, the large windows on the sides, along with those coachroof provide a remarkable brightness to the interior, with point of view at different levels.

The boat deck is completely clean and it is equipped with electric roller-furler jib, fitted below the deck and fixed bowsprit with anchor and gennaker tack.

ICE 70-70RS

Deck

The gaze as soon as you get on board is lost from the cockpit towards the bow with large spaces and an order that give the boat an incredible exclusivity. Stylistically, the deck is characterized by a squared, flat and slender deckhouse, with large double-layer glass windows, from which the light that illuminates the entire “raised” living room diffuses. The large cockpit stems from a thorough ergonomic and functional study, deep enough to provide safety and equipment, rationally arranged to facilitate the crew and helmsman. The primary winches and the ones of the mainsail are set back and easily accessible. The mainsail halyard runs below deck back to the cockpit and can be operated remaining di- rectly at the wheel. The hydraulic rams that tunes the backstay are folded into the garage. The primary goal was to achieve a visual cleaning of the deck.

Stern

The opening stern gives access to the large garage, where you can stow the 3 meters sails and numerous objects needed on board; the stern platform, flush on the water, allows an easy descent to the sea. The aft gangway is hydraulic and retractable.

Interiors

The wood veneers used in the furnishing of this first model is natural teak, the first message of how classic and nautical tradition can be combined with modernity. The inserts that cover the vertical elements and create a continuum in all living spaces are in natural leather. We chose to play with the shades of beige and white for the fabrics, with some nuances for the seats and sofas, thus diversifying the two living areas: that of the lighter living area, that of the TV, a darker gradation, to give to this place of relaxation greater intimacy.

Even the objects are cured, always in the classicism philosophy in a modern key. The half-hull model, as well as the design lamp from Flos are combined in harmony with a contemporary work.

The teak floor, with dark wengé staves, slides longitudinally from stern to bow, stylistically binding all environments. The aft area, organized with the captain’s cabin, communicating with the kitchen area, is completely independent in order to guarantee considerable privacy for the owner and his guests. The bow is a dedicated area to the master cabin, large and elegant with a master bathroom complete with shower and sauna all covered in teak and with a study where you can retreat in absolute tranquillity, and to the guest area consisting of a cabin with double bed and large wardrobes and a dedicated bathroom.

Cockpit

The cockpit benches are wide and made even more comfortable by the possibility of fixing water repellent cushions made “by design”, which can be removable and easily stowed in the garage, which also has two entrances from the cockpit.

In the cockpit, the general cleaning, the two aft lockers for the storage of the life rafts, the retractable toe rail, and the completely hidden recessed mainsail travel represent unique elements.

Always taking into account the mixed classic and hi-tech materials, the carbon rudder columns, and the new instruments pods, which are specifically designed and shaped in order to follow the guidelines of the deckhouse, allow to ergonomically locate all the electronic components that are now an integral part of every modern yacht.

It is interesting to consider all the machinery, such as the main engine, the bow, and stern thruster, the anchor and mooring winch, all the hydraulic rams, including the one that operates the lifting keel, and the full deck lighting system can be operated from the console.
